Paper Laminated Box-Type (Block Bottom) Bags
Paper laminated bags built with side gussets and a pasted flat base, so the filled bag holds a square-shouldered block shape instead of a pillow.
A box-type bag is gusseted at the sides and pasted flat across the base. Filled, it holds a brick shape rather than slumping — and that one difference changes everything downstream. Pallets cube out properly, loads stay square inside a container, and the bag stands on a shop floor without support.
The flat faces are also the best print surface we make. Because the panel does not curve away as the bag fills, artwork stays undistorted and readable straight on, which is why the style is chosen wherever the bag is seen by the person buying the product rather than only by the person filling it.
Gusset depth, base width and bag height are specified together against your fill weight and product density. Get those three right and the filled bag lands on your pallet footprint exactly, with no overhang and no wasted cube.
